Part early-evening dance party, part sacred somatic journey, Ecstatic Dance is everything you want from a dance experience, and nothing you don’t.
Let go of talking, kick off our shoes, and move however our bodies choose! 🤸🏾♂️ Imagine being able to enjoy dancing without awkward small talk, alcohol, or dirty nightclub floors. Any and all movement is encouraged. 💃🏾🕺🏼 You may want to stretch, do a little tai chi, twerk on the wall, or shimmy with reckless abandon. Or perhaps you want to sit in stillness and simply soak up the good vibes. This is your time to be fully present in your body, and explore freeform movement.
While letting go of conversation during the 90-minute dance, singing along and making silly noises are both accepted and encouraged. 😁
Doors open at 6:30 and close at 7 pm for a brief Opening Circle.
After Opening Circle, the dance will be 90 minutes of music from around the world in a carefully curated mix designed to support your expression. The music will flow from slow and gentle at the beginning, up to wild and free and then back down, giving you a complete journey.
