Darkwave Dance Party

Fall is here! Get spooky on Friday, September 1st with three live bands and a DJ playing dark electronic, darkwave, synthwave, and more! The band Dead Cool, a darkwave duo from NC, is coming to make you dance and they’ve got two awesome local acts to keep your feet moving: Draining Kiss, a dark electronic solo act, and Last Grasp, a goth/postpunk band. Wild Creatrix, the local creative and Dark Dance Party organizer, will DJ for the dance party which starts at 8pm.
Doors at 8pm, Loosey’s Downtown, 120 SW 1st Avenue, $10 cover, 18+
Dead Cool is a dark electronic duo formed in 2020 by husband and wife duo, Johnny and Angela Yeagher. They currently reside in Wilmington, NC, USA. Their sound combines elements of darkwave, post-punk and synth-po. They have released 8 singles to date, have been featured in Procession Magazine, performed live at Absolution Fest as well as rated in the Top 50 Goth Bands of 2022 by Goths World Wide.
