Backyard Birds

Almost 400 birds have been found in Alachua County. Where are these birds? State parks, preserves, nature centers? Would you believe that more than 100 of those birds have been found in the backyards of Gainesville? This presentation by Danielle Zukowski of the Alachua Audubon Society will introduce you to visitors you may find in your yard, how to create spaces inviting to birds, and what you can do to help the birds of your yard and community.

Perspectives in the Park is typically offered on the first Sunday of each month, and is free and open to the public. This monthly program features experts in their field sharing information on a variety of topics including science, nature, history and art.
