Age of Electricity: Latimer, Edison, Tesla

An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Sunday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until May 2, 2021

Plug in to new activities, micro-exhibits, and interactive displays related to Electricity at the Cade Museum.
Visitors will learn that in the late 19th century, America entered an Age of Invention. Innovative ideas swept the country as inventors raced to bring their creations to market. No one embodies these creative leaps in technology as well as Lewis Latimer, Thomas Edison, and Nikola Tesla.
Explore Latimer’s work drafting patents for the lightbulb and the telephone, Edison’s inventions of sound recording and the motion picture; and Tesla’s work on wireless technology.
Admission:
Adults (18+): $12.50 Youth (ages 5-17): $7.50 Child (ages 0-4): Free Seniors + College Students: $10 Cade Museum Members: Free
