The Alachua County Tourist Development Council is the official tourism advisory board for the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.

The TDC offers scholarships for industry professionals to attend educational conferences within the field, awards Tourist Product Development grants to worthy projects, and makes recommendations on tourism-related issues and projects affecting Alachua County.

Tourist Development Council meets on the third Wednesday of every month, at rotating locations throughout Gainesville. Contact John Pricher at jop@visitgainesville.com to be added to the monthly meeting notification list.
