VisitGainesville host 4 quarterly General Managers Meetings every year begining in March.

The purpose of these meetings is to bring together hotel General Managers with representatives from VisitGainesville, Gainesville Sports Commission, and the City of Gainesville Department of Cultural Affairs to discuss current industry-related topics.

General Managers' Half-Day Summit

The VisitGainesville Office held a half-day summit with the hotel General Managers on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Topics included the economy, the STAR report, overview of a VCB, marketing, and Visit Florida partnerships.
