Dog Wood Park is a 15 acre private off-leash dog park in Gainesville where dogs can run to their hearts’ content in a safe controlled environment. Doggie Daycare is available.

Dog Wood Park is completely fenced and features benches, swings, picnic tables, two large dog swimming ponds, a shaded walking/jogging trail, a fenced area for small dogs only, and lots of large shade trees. The Park also provides exercise for dogs with tunnels, tires, obstacles, frisbees and tennis balls.
Dog Wood Park offers warm-water dog bathing facilities and a shop with treats for people and doggies as well as other merchandise.
While locals have a wide range of hours available, visitors also have lots of access while they are in town.
Hours: Members - dawn to dusk 365 days per year. Visitors - Saturday & Sunday 9a-5p; Monday closed; Tuesday-Thursday 1p-4p; Friday 4p-6p
Admission: Visitors $10+tax for first dog; $3+tax for each other dog in group.
